great new book

I just bought Fleur Wood's new book, Food Fashion Friends, and it is amazing. The book is a collection of parties, and each chapter features a different theme. The photography and typography is stunning! Great for your art book collection.

Gestalten recently published Boxed and Labelled: New Approaches to Packaging Design. The book is awesome because it features all kinds of packaging, from cosmetics to food products. The layout is clean and fresh, with lots of white space! For a great deal, pick it up on Amazon!

the kind diet

Actress and activist, Alicia Silverstone released her book The Kind Diet in 2009. I just finished it and it is definitely worth reading if you are interested in vegetarianism, veganism, macrobiotics, or health in general. There are tons of awesome plant-based recipes too, including real peanut butter cups.
