What influences your style, and where do you go for inspiration?

My style is classic inspired by sparks of whimsy and color. I love the idea of mixing structured and loose pieces together, wearing bold fabrics that pop and adding vintage elements to my wardrobe to make something new feel old. My style is definitely inspired by people like Diane Keaton in Annie Hall and the Olsen twins. For inspiration, I find myself stalking sites like notcouture.com, weheartit.com, leblogdebetty.com and pinterest.com

What are your favorite magazines?

I love Elle and Vogue.

What are your favorite stores?

One of my favorite stores that I always try to visit when I'm in NYC is Anna Sui. I loved going there when I lived in the city. She uses beautiful fabrics and the store decor was so cool! I also frequented Top Shop and Opening Ceremony. In Texas, I love shopping in downtown Austin at places like Uncommon Objects, Big Bertha's and Bows and Arrows.

What is your favorite city?

San Francisco! It is such a beautiful city! I lived in the bay area about ten years ago and am counting the days until I return! San Francisco is full of creative people, beautiful views and the best seafood.

If you could raid anyone's closet, whose would it be?

What influences your style, and where do you go for inspiration?

Most of my inspiration comes from whatever catches my eye and what I have chosen to add to my collection/closet. It's sort of an in the moment, "I like this and I'll make it work" sort of attitude. I don't really find myself checking out the latest trends, designers or celebrities in order to find what my next look will be. Clothing and fashion are more free for me then that.

What is your favorite magazine?

I rarely read magazines, but I never ever miss a September issue of Vogue!

What are your favorite stores?

I work at Anthropologie here in Austin, so I tend to find myself shopping there or one of the sister stores.

What is your favorite city?

I lived in San Francisco for 5 years and loved it, but Austin most definitely comes in at a very close 2nd!

What influences your style, and where do you go for inspiration?

Anything that's comfortable and portable somehow just is my style. I don't like carrying around a bunch of things with me so I'm rarely seen carrying bags but often seen wearing anything with pockets. Design blogs and tumblrs are generally the places I go for inspiration, but just seeing what people wear on the street probably inspires me most.

What is your favorite magazine?

I actually don't really read magazines...I plow through books.

What are your favorite stores?

Currently my favorite stores are APC, Built by Wendy, Acne, Jil Sander...Not that I can really afford anything in any of these, but Gilt Groupe helps me out.

What is your favorite city?

It has to by NYC Manhattan/Brooklyn (I kind of see them as one "super-city") Otherwise, it'd be Antwerp, Belgium.

If you could raid anyone's closet, whose would it be?

I would have to say the closet that Tilda Swinton's stylist has created for her. Thanks to websites and other media, currently, Tilda Swinton can do no wrong in my book. I think she's donned so many different items of clothing and accessories (stylistically), that it must be one hell of a treasure mine.

What influences your style, and where do you go for inspiration?
My personal motto is: "Simple things done well", which means less is more and quality is key. I am drawn towards clean lines, solid colors, and fitted silhouettes. Basically, anything classic and streamlined.

My life revolves around food so I've always got a copy of Saveur, Food and Wine, or Bon Appétit lying around.

Banana Republic for closet staples, Terrain for gifts, Antonelli's for cheese

This may be cliche at the moment, but I love Kate Middleton's style. Anyone who can simultaneously set trends and keep it classy is my kind of girl.

What inspires your style, and where do you go for inspiration?

For evening I love the 1920's, amazing bead-work, and anything that sparkles! Of course I'd never go out after 6pm without heels on (at least 4") either. My general look is a bit bipolar; very glamorous at night and pretty rock and roll/california girl during the day (no, I am not from california). Then there's vacation "Alexa." My absolute favorite place in the world is Southeast Asia and when I am there, I don't wear any shoes or any makeup at all and pretty much look like I just walked off a Phish tour bus. I find that a lot of my style inspiration comes from different treasures I have found on my excursions to Asia.
